Congratulations man!
I wrote the test on Aug 13 in London as well, two days later the status was changed from In Process to Decision Made but it has been two months and I haven't heard back from their office yet. Kinda getting impatient now lol

Cheers

We received her original oath invitation letter yesterday. It's a "special citizenship ceremony" (written on the letter) as it's going to be held at London Public Library instead of the CIC-London office at 417 Exeter Road.

You hold your patience and things will be alright. :)

We're done! Hubby had his citizenship ceremony yesterday in Surrey.

Really glad my mom was there with me because they DO NOT like any noise from babies. My 6 month old made some noise (not crying) and this lady comes over and tells me if she does it again I have to leave. It wasn't like my little girl was constantly making the noise (leaving wouldn't solve anything as she'd be quiet again right after) but the next time she did my mom took her for a walk so I could be there for my husband.

Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting! Looks like CIC has a hard deadline to get all of our applications done.

Today, my e-case has changed In Process to "Decision Made". I hope other brothers and sisters will hear the good news very soon.

That was quite long for DM... Did u get a FP request or any other doc request?

Yes, CIC asked me two additional documents a letter from current employer and the Notice of Assessment from Canada Revenue Agency which I sent a week ago.

Yes it was. Went through different chapters of the book couple of times. Did some practiced online and it worked.

I found http://www.citizenshipsupport.ca/ very helpful and comprehensive to prepare.

Thanks for the help.

Congrats ASif. Took my test in mississauga too around 2 weeks ago. Still waiting for oath schedule. Let's keep each other posted of any update. The official who interviewed me said it will take 1-2 months for oath. Hope both of us get oath appointments very soon.

i am applying citizenship for my son (minor)
we have his following docs as pieces of the child’s personal identification

1. passport copy
2. PR copy

thank you so much

I am an applicant from Toronto area, sent my package in February. My application is "in process" since the end of May, nothing changed so far, and I don't really understand such variation in processing times. This is a federal process, government is collecting the exact same fee for each applicant from all locations and if there is not sufficient resources in some offices they should align them accordingly. I would like to raise this concern and write a letter/e-mail to a number of MPs, preferably to Liberals in Ontario. Do you guys have any suggestions on the names who might be interested in hearing us and taking action for a much fair processing, at least for future applicants.

Today marks 4 months after test and decision made, no oath yet.

Called Cic call center several times, but as you may already know, they are useless. Some tell me i have to wait 6 months after test to call. another guy told me processing time for routing is 24 months (probably he is not up to date of the new processing times lol)...I don't know, an ATIP takes another month. Probably i'll receive it by then. MY CO during interview congratulated me and said expect oath 1-3 months. but cic call center tells me "it doesn't matter what ur officer says".
