It depends upon the province where you live. Some provinces are fast and some are slow. For a straightforward application, it can take anywhere around 1 to 5 months on an average for the test/interview after the online status changes to "In Process"

Hey guys, I never received my AOR letter and I'm getting concerned I might have missed something. Does the AOR letter have any interview invites, dates or any request for any actions at all?
This is my timeline on ECAS:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 13, 2015.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 17, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on April 21, 2015.

Thanks in advance for your help.

No, just acknowledging receipt of your application. You already know from the ecas system that your application was received, so no need to worry.

Thanks for your help!
Yes I know they have my application, my concern was if they had asked me for something or set a date for an interview or test and I never received it.
Thanks

Congratulations on passing the test.
Usually it would be 2-3 months to get the oath letter however could take 3-5 months as well.

Thanks thecoolguysam

Has any of the Feb-2015 applicants received the oath date ?

Thanks

I think few october and november applicants have got their oath. I am a december applicant and I am waiting for my oath letter. I haven't seen any december applicant in this forum getting the oath letter yet but hopefully it would be soon.

"Has any of the Feb-2015 applicants received the oath date ?"

Not many of us have even gotten their file to the "local office" - like mine. But, since it went to Deadmonton, I expect (based on posts throughout this forum) to wait until next year to get a test invite - even though (by the time line I have) it looks like a "routine" application.

So much for clean living...

FINALLY!!! I am in process guys!!!!

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 19, 2015.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 14, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

So sorry...this may be a question that has been answered many times already...but now that my file has been transferred to my local office, should I expect to receive my test invite by regular mail or by email (as with the AOR)?

Many many thanks.

Hi everyone

I hope I'm eligible to join the group. :) I sent my application on Feb 26th. However, the application was returned on Mar 20th because the language approved document was not eligible. So I took the CELPIP-LS test and sent it again on May 1st. Not hearing anything yet so far. Nice to meet everyone here and hope you all have a great day.

Citizenship Application

So my husband got a yellow piece of paper in the mail today: "Notice to Appear - To write a citizenship test and/or for verification of identity/documents"

Test date in Surrey June 26 at 8:03am. (seriously, 8:03, what happens in the first 3 minutes?)

Now to get him to study. Website still only shows that it was transferred to the Surrey office.
