What should be the strategy now for the Feb applicants who has not yet received AOR. Even by calling CIC is not working. It is realy a big tension now and we not sure where our applications are? Any idea??
I have the same question. My application was received on March 3rd and they seem to be processing March applicants quite fast but I still haven't heard anything.
Do they run any other checks at this point or is it just to check if the document is complete? Because if it's just a basic check then by now even I should have either received my returned application or heard something at least! I think they do some random checks based on nationality and other flag causing elements!

i received today another AOR !!!!!
what does the means
the first was on march the 17th in english, and dated 17 march
the second today, in french and dated 31 march

Means you will receive 2 citizenships.

Did you select english or french for communications? If French then they realized they made a mistake by sending AOR in English.

I Call CIC today and I was surprise that they did not locate my application. They first ask about the tracking number on which they confirmed that our office has received application but not sure where it is as it was not entered in the system. They mentioned that fax to Sydney office which I did this afternoon. One thing other I noted that at the time of call to CIC the automated machine provide info that applications received before February 26 2015 is in process and my application was received on Feb 20.

Hi Passion,

Really? Is that what the machine provided to you? Did you call 1 888 242 2100? Our application was received on Feb 24 so just curious where I could hear this message.

Thanks,
Christine

Hi Passion2015,

I am sorry to know that you're still awaiting AOR and that your application is not traceable. I hope and wish that there is a positive reply from CIC to your fax message. If you don't hear from them in a week or two, try calling again to see if there is any progress. I wish you all good luck!

I called CIC and the machine said that "if your application was mailed or received after February 26, 2015, it is not yet being in process." Ours was received on February 24 so I am hoping it's already in process. I wish they would update ecas more often!

hello, one question,,is it really true they are processing apps faster now?(citizenship)?

That is a difficult question to answer in all honesty. Based on available data from spreadsheets I have checked from Nov 14, Dec 14 up till Mar 15 the time to get AoR had decreased which is only step 1 but the time to go from AoR to IP is still up for debate. So honestly overall it is still too early to say in my opinion at least.

Well, compared to what they say on their website (24 month) i see that a lot of us are getting the citizenship in about a year. So I would say yes...
