Hey Asagalen,

How about setting up the statistics in our spreadsheet? Thanks in advance!

(Considering you are the go-to guy for all spreadsheet related queries/troubleshooting.)

Hello Aspat / Asagalen:

If you plan to do any statistical analysis in our spreadsheet, please do consider stratifying the timeline based on the citizenship office too, to see if there is any trend with that too.

Aspat - The statistics can be found at the very bottom of the spreadsheet
Nainarvet - thanks for the suggestion i'll figure that out ;D

I got my AOR minutes ago.

Great! Congrats, CDM!

seems like the average days between received and AOR is getting less and less compared with January, month-on-month

Hopefully, when the backlog has truly been minimized and eliminated, I foresee AORs can easily come within 2 weeks upon application being received.

Having said that, I'm not sure if the new immigration procedure will change that...we'll see.

I received my AOR yesterday in email.

Application received: February 20, 2015
AOR: March 10, 2015

Hi and congrats! Please input your information on the Feb. Spreadhsheet :) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/187JAQx0cErQzjc1zd4pRndaugMfJWngmVleWXEK5O70/edit#gid=0

Guys I just called CIC and it says they are processing applications from January 7th! This is a change from December 8th only last week I think :o

Hi all,

we now know that the 1 step process is already functional. However, when the applications are transferred to the local office, they are analyzed again by another agent ... So it is at least a 2-step process.

What do you think ?

Congrats to the new recipients of AoR. Hope mine arrives soon as well.

Guyz my application is returned today and the reason is "The Passport provided does not cover the 4 year period preceding the date of your application. Please send us a photocopy of the biographical page of any other passport you have had during the relevant 4 year period"

Now the funny thing is i have sent them my old passport biographical pages photocopy but what i think got them confused is my old passport which expired in 2005 and i just renewed my passport on Nov-2014, as i was the refugee applicant i couldn't travel so i never renewed my passport. Should i just explain them that from the period of 2005 till Nov-2014 i never renewed my passport as i couldn't travel?? logically my application shouldn't be returned.

any advice??

Hi,

Our application was returned for the same reason. However, we only had one passport since 2010, and we did forget to include that as we renewed our passport just in Jan 2015.

Having said that, you can add a cover letter explaining as such, include whatever relevant docs that you can include.

Good luck.
