Feb 2014 test & interview passers

Mystery yet to be solved -
1. when i called today, agent politely gave the good news that oath has been scheduled.
2. when i asked my hubby to call (he's the primary applicant), agent stubbornly said files are being reviewed.
3. when i called back again, agent asked me to take note of when and where the oath will be held, in case the letter fails to reach on time!

There was my lunch hour with cic .. filled with mixed emotions! I'll know only when I receive the letters next week (hopefully)!

My test was on February 11th at Montreal.

Called cic today and the representative said word by word " everything is ok, and looks like they are looking for a date to schedule me for oath". " I don't know when exactly". ...hmmm any comments on the answer or did anyone get similar answer, yet is still waiting.

Well - thats the response i got 2 weeks ago... 'Everything looks good and the next step is oath. But cannot say when'!! Hopefully good news to follow soon guys

Today I got my oath invitation for May 5th.
I hope yours will arriving in a few days.

Hi, Purrple.
No, I haven't thought of requesting ATIP. To be honest, I'm in no rush at all to have Canadian citizenship. My passport has US visa in it and I can pretty much go anywhere I want with it. It also expires until 2016. PR card expires next year.
But I guess it would be nice to be able to vote against that bozo mayor we have or to be able to apply for a job at CSIS.
Other than that, I'm ok as a PR.
