I sent my application on February 20th and CIC received it on February 24th. I am from Windsor.

Any update from anybody from Feb 2014 returned application because of old forms or missing documents one more things Can we send abroad degrees and transcript as language proof
 
As far as I know they will accept the old application forms.
Yes you can use degrees from outside the country with a transcript.

You mean degrees from Indian Sub Continent region countries (India/Pak/Bangladesh/Srilanka) are accepted? Will they accept High School/College Diploma which completed in 90s ? or only University level degrees? Diploma and Mark Certificate both are issued in English though but can't proof the instruction language was English..
 
I am not sure about the dates. High school certificates are good But you have to prove that instruction & tests were in English language

Thanks..Yes that's my concern. In certificate it is written the completion of program and in mark sheet the subjects are mentioned with achieved marks. But there is nothing mentioned that course instructions were in English. I think would be safer to take CELPIP.

Also, I find you applied as Family.. I am planning to apply with family but my wife and son will quality on 15th April while I am on 15th June. They have 2 travels of total 85 days (both in summer school vacation) while mine is 140days. I am not sure whether I should wait till 15th June till my 1095 days completes to apply together or I should send my wife and son application only? I am bit concern of new law which may come in effect by Fall 2014 and if for any reason they return applications after month or so then will loose time..
 
Hello Everyone...

Finally got to join a thread.... :)

I am a single applicant from Toronto and my application was received @ Sydney today (27th Feb). I used the new form from this month (and ofcourse the new fee).
And I applied with 1100 physical days. I'll update google spreadsheet (thanks kelshaer !!)

Let the waiting game begin... Good Luck everyone....

How do you know the application have been received. The source is your courier/Canada post confirmation or you received a reply from cic?

One more question, how many days would it take for the acknowledgement receipt?
