Generally speaking, no, but for cases like the FBI, where the entire process takes in excess of four months, CIC gives you a 60 day extension, as long as you can show that you made a good faith effort to obtain the PCC before time.

Even if the score falls, I can't see it free-falling - the problem is that there's a bunch of people sitting in the 440's - so even if it falls a few points, you have a 12-month backlog of people sitting in that range that have waited for an ITA (where at most someone in the 450's had to wait a few months). Given that CIC seems to target 1500 people, my guess is you'll see it fall 1-2 points at a time if/when it goes below 450 - just due to the backlog of people there. I would also expect that the lower the score, the more people are that tier (simply because it takes fewer qualifications to get a lower score). I could see it falling to 440 over the next 12 months, but can't see it going below that.

FWIW, my CRS score is 430 and I took the PT from OINP - unless CIC changes things, I can't see the score getting to 430 in 2016. 445, that I could see, but I'd bet $20 we won't even see 440 in 2016 (barring CIC making a substantial change, going to 3 draws regularly, and even then I question it).
True. 445 will be the new low. The changes I'm looking for is to divide the EE pool into different categories with different minimum draw scores and quotas, similar to the new BC PNP. They have international grad, int'l post grad, skilled worker, etc. For int'l grad the minimum draw score is 105, while for skilled worker it's 135.

Of course, you need to include PCC in your application. It shouldn't be more than 3 months old at the time of your application.
That information is incorrect. It can be upto 6 months old (and not 3 months) as stated on the CIC site as below:

"For the applicant’s current country of residence, the PC must have been issued no more than six months before submission of the e-APR"
(Source: cic. gc. ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp)

The Bitter truth is that, i dont see the score coming down below 450,
i,ll advice you find a way to improve your score if your PGWP is expiring.
sitting at 443, rewriting celpip soonest. its better to wake up from the dreams of score coming down.
my PGWP expires March 2017, i,ll be having 2yrs of Canadian work experience end of may, that would give me an additional point to get to 259..but looking at june 2016 to march 2017 when my PGWP expires that leave me with 9months..
wont it be better if i get the ITA early? def it is...
this whole thing is so tiring, :'(

Yes. Next week, the cutoff might be close to 452 or so and the week after it will breach 450 provided IRCC has 3 draws in Feb.
The draw will occur every alternate Wednesday. So 3 draws in a month will occur in June 1, 15, 29. But not before that.
There was a 3rd draw in January in quick time because there was one missing in December due to Christmas/New year time.

Hi everyone,

I need urgent help! I have 4 years work experience but in 3 different NOCs. For my primary occupation I have 1 year experience. The problem is that after creating my express entry profile, my crs score was calculated as 476 based on the 4 years work experience (since i had to declare all my work experiences over the past 10 years). I feel that my actual crs score is 451 based on my primary occupation and on the rule that says that work experience should be at least 1 year and from the same NOC. I have been invited by OINP and now I just received ITA. I don't know what to do because I'm worried that if I go directly for the ITA, i might be rejected based on work experience in different NOCs.

Should I just go for OINP? I need advice people!!!

That rule applies only for the minimum eligibility criteria. For CRS points, your cumulative work experience is counted. Your higher score is correct.

Thanks Dexmoody!

Another question please, is a 1 year management traineeship a valid work experience? It's paid and full-time

. The quantity of Wednesdays in a month has no bearing on the CRS Drawn. It is purely the number of weeks BETWEEN draws that decreases (1 week) or increases (2 or more weeks) the number.

This is exactly what i spoke about once...but then couple of members who are international students said EE is better and you should be more active in job search even before the completion of the program. What they dont understand is not every hyperactive person gets a job right after graduation. I respect their opinion but i believe EE is more harder to international student.

I don't think it will be ever 1 week interval again.
They had to do it in January because they missed one in December.
