Please advice. I requested that FBI use for the electronic version the prints sent for the paper version application and I got this response

Please check your records regarding the DHL tracking number which you provided in the below email. Per DHL, that tracking number does not exist in their records, nor does the number exist in our records. We cannot process your request without the proper tracking number. Below is the message received from DHL when a query was made with the tracking number you provided:

Some of your queries resulted in an error

  • 2293671936 (Not found): No result found for your DHL query. Please try again.
I talked with DHL office and they keep records for only 3 months. What puzzles me is how come they do not find it. I have proof of delivery by dhl as I saved a copy two months ago from DHL system.
when did your prints reach the FBI office?

I think we might be applying for different things. For a citizenship application it states that you need to send in the original PCC document with your application by mail. In my case there would be nowhere to upload it to online as I'm not in the process yet with a reference number etc.
Even though I've been living in Canada since 2009, I need the FBI PCC because I'm a truck driver and just about all of my work takes me south in to the US and then back to Canada again and I have way more than 183 days in the past 4 years there.

The processes of different types of application will no doubt differ

Thank you for the information. Yes we are applying for different categories. All the best :)

Hi All,

I wrote to FBI regarding the DOB appearing wrong in my eDO report. Got a mail from them that it has been sent to the processing department.

Since I had sent in my paper application as well before eDO implementation so initiated that as well for eDO processing. FBI asked me to send the following information. Have sent the same by forwarding the confirmation mail for eDO.

Name
Address
Telephone number
Name of Courier
Tracking number for the envelope

I am just hoping for one correct FBI PCC report. Keeping fingers crossed.

tks,
tbn2k18

Maybe you can get a confirmation from DHL regarding the delivery report and then send a mail to FBI forwarding the same mail and delivery report.

We attached the confirmation but they seem that they do not open it. They continue saying that the tracking number is wrong. While we have copy paste it.

Its a standard issue with them. They sent an email for eDO notifying most people who applied between 2/2/2018 and 2/13/2018 about DOB issues

Saw the FBI mail just now. Since it was a technical glitch in the eDO system so they will look into it and rectify.

Does anybody know what do fill to submit FBI PCC via ADR?
1. Doc name: FBI PCC?
2. Doc number: The number after Search completed result? E2018xxxxxxxxx?
3. Issue date: The date on the PCC?
4. Expiry date: NA?

Thanks in advance

Send mail to DHL and get confirmation
Same mail forward to FBI with delivery details mentioned and mention the person name who received the envelope. Also date and time of delivery.

Hope your issue gets resolved soon.

Hello everyone,

My friend is recommending EDO service for FBI PCC which seems to return reports a lot faster than the earlier service for non-citizen or non-PR applicants. Is it ok to use as a non-pr /non-citizen applicant. Also did anyone face issues after using the EDO generated report.

Regards.

EDO service provides FBI PCC in 48 hours.
There was a slight glitch in EDO for which FBI is reissuing the reports
It is an effective service for us as it has reduced the wait time to 48 hours post document delivery from the earlier 14 weeks time period

1. Yes it is fast as of now.
2. Many people reported issue that their DOB is off by one day on their PCC, check if that bug has been resolved. If you are not in hurry, then you can wait for few days to ensure newest reports are fine. If in hurry go ahead and get it done

Yea I am not in a terrible hurry. I will wait till end of this month to apply. I guess it will be rectified by then. But Thanks though @ypaul and @tbn2k18. It is a big relief compared to the earlier service which has long timelines.

For all those who sent in post and still waiting. you can convert to eDO now. Check on FBI website.....
