Same situation. Only my request reached FBI one day later on 27th April. I rather going to apply on Monday before deadline with LOE and proof of sending request to FBI. Maybe it worth to send them an email later next week to check the status and upload the response too. I am more concerned about acceptance of fingerprints by FBI.

as a proof that you are in process of receiving it upload the postal receipt + scans of the documents if you have taken. send and email to FBI and they will revert in 24 hours. attache those screenshots too. CIC knows very well that FBI PCC is time consuming and allows additional time.
Make sure you explain it in your LOE.
That's right. But IMO, its better to explain this by writing a letter and attaching it with other PCCs.

Whats IMO ? Also are you sure the LOE works. Do we have success cases where people applied & later submitted the FBI PCC. Any thread mentioning the same. Please attach the link if possible ...I have heard other wise although not from a reliable source that CIC returns the application. Anythread mentioning either / or cases please send so that we know our fate...

Do we have success cases where people applied on or before the last date of the ITA expiry without FBI PCC & later submitted the FBI PCC & have been successful with the application.
Any thread mentioning the same. Please attach the link of thread if possible ...I have heard other wise although not from a reliable source that CIC returns the application if FBI PCC is not submitted . Any thread mentioning either / or cases success or failure with or without PCC would be helpful.

I have personally seen cases where CIC gave a 60 days extension for the FBI PCC.
My Credit Card is charged today (July 10th) for both me and my spouse.
