thank you.

My timeline

FBI received my applicatio March 30, 2017
thru money order. FYI. Thank you.

Hey! Which country are you applying from? I sent payment through money order as well so would like to know how long it took to process, given they can tell you that now. Mine reached on April 15 so am waiting for the same.

Hi,

There's no way to track if it is money order. I am here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. FBI received my application package March 30, 2017. I'm hoping within this week it will process my PCC. Praying also there will be no problem/hassle to my application. Thank you

Hi KenCalgary2016, when you mentioned that FBI received your application on March 30th, do you mean that the postal service confirmed the delivery as of March 30th? Are there any steps AFTER the postal service marks it as delivered vs. when FBI says they received?

Alright perfect. Praying for everyone in fact. When you do eventually receive your document I would be very grateful if you could just let me know here. Thank you for the information.

I did my fingerprints by myself and it will be a great disappointment if after 2.months they tell me that my fingerprints are.not readable and that i need to do it all again.

They were processing applications as on 27th March yesterday. My package is delivered on April 17th so I would guess we should see something in the 3rd week of June. The best way to make sure is call them around that time and ask them what date packages are being opened. Based on that you can then ask for your specific case and they will let you know whether your PCC was processed. For credit card cases, there is a good indication since the charge will appear when they begin processing the application.

I did it myself too. I sent them several fingerprint cards hoping at least one was good enough. It did work.

They should decrease the processing time to 1 month. 2 months is hell of a slow processing time.
Agree. I found that in the beginning of the year they had even worse processing time - around 4 months. 1 month time would be good.

I usually don't recommend doing the prints at home, it is quite hard to get the printing correct. There are finger print technicians in Pakistan (assuming you live there) and I can recommend one in Islamabad. I would suggest sending a second set of prints, taken by a professional, to the FBI now instead of just waiting. Worst case scenario you will waste $18 for a second set of prints but at least your time is saved in case the first prints are rejected.

The 2 month timeline is an improvement, as it was 3-4 months last year.

Card charged today. Fingerprints were taken at local Police Dept and delivered with application on March 29th. That means at least 65 days to card charged from date of delivery
