Hi, I got my fingerprints taken at a local police station and then sent them to the FBI. I am from India and I wrote the race in my FBI application as A - Asian but the person who took my fingerprints insisted that it is W and so I said okay.
I just found an FBI guideline document that says Asian Indians are considered as A. I know that Asian Indians were considered as White in the old census but it looks like the guidelines have been updated.
Will my application get rejected ? Should I wait for them to reply or just get another set ready?
