I'm in the same boat (ADR response on Feb 9). My additional docs status still says "under review".

That's good news. PPR should be out soon. Good luck.

I see your PCC was processed and received within 4 days.

That's fantastic. Ain't you lucky?

Mine took about 14 weeks of nerve-wracking wait!

So should i get PPR or COPR next? Whats the difference? Which is better?
PPR = PassPort Request. After the passport is stamped with a single-entry visa (if you are from a country that needs a visa for Canada), you will receive the CoPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence). The CoPR must be used to "activate" the PR status by landing using the visa prior to expiry of the medical tests (expiry 1y from test).

You would get PPR first, then CoPR.

I'm on the old method. CC charged yesterday. Shipping within the U.S.

Do you think it would be faster if I submitted via the electronic system today?

It would be about the same time. Shipping to the US only takes a few days. I would not waste time and money on the eDO at this point.

Thanks Sid, a few follow up questions:
  1. I am from India, Does an Indian need Visa for Canada? where can i check the same?
  2. Where will the passport be stamped for Single Entry?
  3. Is the stamp considered as COPR or is it something else?

1. Yes.
2. Depends on your current country of residence. If in India, you will have to hand over to VFS (processed at New Delhi Visa Office)
3. CoPR is a separate document that is received with the stamped passport.

Thanks Sid, Does it have to be at Delhi or any VFS center would do?
