Hi, Can anyone please tell me if it is required to submit state PCC from USA along with FBI PCC for express entry? and for how long is FBI PCC valid? my spouse has FBI PCC from Aug 26th 2017, is it valid till Feb 25th 2018?

You will be needing only FBI Clearance and not the state clearance.
The validity depends on where you are.. If you are inside US, then the PCC is valid for 6 months. But if you have already left the country, I hope the PCC is valid indefinitely as you would have taken it after, you leaving the country.

Hello please guide.
I am in India Mumbai and will need to get a fbi clearance as i have stayed there in bits and pieces for about a little over 6 months. I got nominated today but have been having nightmares since fbi pcc takes 12 to 16 weeks @$18.
I have contacted few agencies that so expedited process and charge a VERY HEFTY PRICE almost 22 thousand Indian currency to get it in 10 days. Need help from this group please on below.
1) cic site says fbi takes almost 60 days and that i can submit documents and provide proof that i applied for the pcc. Does this mean i can upload documents after ita and provide pcc when it arrives.
2) if i do that will cic start processing my application although fbi pcc not received. I will be able to get Indian pcc in 2 days but fbi will take good time and it may not even come before 90 days which is the time limit to upload all supporting after ita. What will happen I such a case.
3) if i wait close to 90 days to receive fbi pcc and then upload my docs my entire process will take time and it may take almost 9 months in total to get copr which will take it almost August for me to land in ontario and it will be winter and job market i heard is typically down tht time. I want to reach as early as possible and avoid any delay in processing since i plan to initially go there alone get a job and bring my family and 2 kids later but any delay can jeopardise my entire calculation as we get only 1 year to land after medicals and if i don't get job my family will need to come and go back only to get pr. My condition is tricky please help.

Just one thing that as Landing as a PR please go with the Entire Family Else you would need to apply them under Family Sponsership Program -Spouse and Dependents. Which itself very lengthy process and take 12 Months.

My CC was charged today. My Application was delivered on August 2nd.

Great. Mine was delivered on 14 to FBI 10-15 days more. Please let the forum know when you get the PCC in hand.

the agency charging extra are fine.. you can go ahead with it.. they have some tie ups with the usa channelers. they charge extra and get ur work done like an usa citizen. i have heard a few people get it done in this way and have got their pcc in 10-12 days.. i have nt dne it personally but if u r in hurry u can go ahead with it.. both the pcc are same only..

Do you get fbi pcc report in a single envelope if a family (applicant and spouse) has applied together? I only got my spouse report today and yet to get mine. We had sent the application to FBI together in a single Fedex envelope. Can someone please let me know ? Thanks.

i have got the pcc from agency as well as from fbi directly. the agency pcc doesnt look any fraudulent and it has the number on it same as fbi gives straight to us.the logo is colored though, and the signature in the agency pcc is more cleaere than the fbi one.
but i dint use the agency one because i got my fbi pcc on time.

what do we mean by agency? I did from a local agency but in the end it went to FBI only. I guess you mean is the expedited from chancellor and normal FBI

Ya. True. I meant the same. The agency help us to get the pcc from fbi in short time.

If I’m a lone applicant, and my family has no intentions to coming to Canada, do I still need to obtain their verifications?

they come in separate envelopes.. I got mine and my spouse's envelope yesterday...
