My PCC was received 12th of November.
Credit Card charged 3rd of March.

That equals to 16 frikkin weeks!!
That's ridiculously long

Now onto next step, worrying about prints being read properly...

December 14. I have updated my credit card form once through email and I called them to confirm that they have the update in their system.

Yeah, I went ahead and included every possible piece of evidence with an exhaustive tracking letter. We'll see.

How will you request a second extension? Over MyCIC, or CSE, or both?

My FBI application was received in December so I think they will open it soon. I have given my home address in Pakistan but is there any chance of the report getting lost? I am not in any hurry so I don't mind waiting for the report as long as I eventually get it. How long does it take for delivery to this region (India-Pakistan) once the report is ready?

I have a cousin in the US, should I request that the FBI send the report to his address in the US instead?

i would suggest .....better use usa address
in india some got it in 15-20 days .....but mostly around or more than a month
but it has got lost also ...i know two cases here on forum.....they never got it

Get it sent to your Cousin in the US... He/She will receive it in a week max... He/She can scan it and email it to you... All you need is the scan to upload to myCIC..

It is sent by USPS first class mail. No tracking is possible. Roughly 10 plus days to reach you. Yes, you can update FBI by submitting address change form.

So i requested a second extension and i haven't heard back from them yet. My package arrived on the 4th of December, so they are about to open it soon. I didnt know that they just give 15 days extension just like they did to Sunil. I mean that`s really boarderline. The return address is at the UK, i dont know if it is worth it to change my address to my friend in the US. what do you think?

no prince ......i made a mistake i feel i should not have done........i was very scared that they might not get annoyed if i ask longer time .....my application is processed and mailed .....so waiting it to arrive at usa address ......i specified that its mailed and i just need time for the mail to arrive ......hence they gave me 15 days ......i feel scared now ....sometimes mail takes longer .......but they will give u extension according to evidence u show them and the time u ask from them.
in my first extension i got exactly what i asked for ......but unfortunately FBI increased their time of processing
so the bottomline is u will get what u ask for .......ask wisely ........not too long but not marginal also.

Brother, Then worst case scenario, if the mail didnt arrive in 15 days, tell them that. as you said they give you the time you ask for. So just may be add what proves the average duration for the mail to get to you. But i am sure you will get it in time.

Actually if we looked objectively, the Canadian side till now shows great understanding. I didnt see a case on this forum where they where rigid.

I just hope we get the damn thing so we can relax
