Hello Everyone,

Sharing my timeline for the FBI PCC.

I know it can be emotionally tiring but hang in there. Good things come to those who wait!

Submission of fingerprint: Aug 27, 2015
Mode of payment: Demand draft (so that I could show a photocopy to Canadian immigration as proof of submission vs a credit card)
Packet Opened: Nov 26 (or Nov 27)
Sent in mail: Dec 4, 2015
Received in mail via USPS: Dec 11, 2015 (address was in Canada to a suburb of Toronto).

Hope this is useful. All the best!

P.S. - This was my first attempt for fingerprint submission.

My credit card was charged today. My application had reached FBI HQ on 9th of September.

I have submitted LOE requesting extension but haven't heard back yet.

I have a question regarding FBI Identity Summary. When they send the report, does the letter come in an envelope that distinctively shows it is from the FBI? The reason I am asking is that I am considering sending a 'Change of address form' so that FBI can forward the report to a US address. That US address however, is a forwarding address service I have been using. They can open letters and scan them for customers, but then again, I need to let them know which letters to open and scan. So it is important to know if the FBI report comes in a distinctive envelope.

Thanks!!

Yes, it comes in large A4 Brownish color envelope with your name on it.

Similar to these one https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/forms/images-1/manilaa/

Can someone let me know which date FBI is currently opening/processing? I'm on my 11th week of wait. But my 60 days extension is going to end on 18th Jan 2016. Just wanna make sure it will come on time.

I'm on my 13th Week now and still my Credit card has not been charged. :'(

So, in other words, the envelop does have FBI, or Federal Bureau of Investigation on it, right? Thanks.

Lol ...on a lighter note ...looks like everybody is talking about their pregnancy week.

I got 90 days extension from CIC.

Good luck everyone

Hi guys,

We all know that the wait is excruciating. But I think the most terrifying aspect of it is the (theoretical) possibility of having the fingerprints rejected by FBI, and having to go through the entire process again.

Is there any way to find out whether the fingerprints we sent out are good enough for their scanners? I took an image of my fingerprint card before sending if off, but I am not an expert, so it's hard for me to tell whether they are good or not. I know that I should have sent more than 1 copy, but I guess I was confident as the fingerprints were done at a local police station. But now I am a bit worried.

Hi Sunil55,

Congrats...

just wanted to ask..

This 90 day extension is on top of your earlier extension that you got post submission of application..?? or if this is your first extension..?

Did you upload the LOE in the myCIC portal or did you raise a CSE with the LOE...

Hi
Congrats on your FBI PCC. I have changed my address to an US address and my mail was dispatched from FBI on the 30thof Nov. I still haven't received it at the US address. Is it normal? What do I do now? Has my mail lost in transit? I see it took USPS just 7 days to reach Canada. Where as its the 16th day now and it hasn't reached US address yet.
Really confused!!! Please advice!

Hello all,

I was thinking to start my US PCC process (am from India) once ITA is issued.

Looking at the awful Turn Around Time many of you are facing, I am thinking to start my process now itself.

Pls advise
