guys,

any updates on which dates FBI have opened the FBI PCC till?

my package arrived at their facility on Oct 2nd. I guess its still a long way to go. I got a 60 days extension (due 18 Jan 2016). Doubt i can receive it by then. Wld raising a CSE then work?

Thats really strange coz i had raised a query to their CS dept. Via email And they replied on 17th that they are opening 18th August.

I realized their information is not consistent. On the day I called they told me they are opening applications received three days before mine. After hanging up I realized I forgot to ask something so I called back and got a different representative who told me my application has already been processed and waiting to be mailed.

Their customer service is completely unreliable.

Hey friend.
I m new on this thread. I went to USA 3 times in 3 diff years and always stayed less than 6 months Since I never lived there more than six months in a row I was thinking I don't need FBI certs. I applied on Aug 6 FSW Outland Now I got additional document request of FBI certs to be submitted in 30 days I m freaking out. Since I never lived there for six or more months in a row isn't this request unnecessary. Still I immediately applied to FBI but u know it takes much longer than 30 days. I have sent a CSE asking to exempt me from this document or provide me extension in date to submit. What do u feel ......I how many days they usually reply to CSE and what are the chances of getting date extension. Will FBI report through channeler be of any help

FBI said, they destroy their copy of Clearance records after 90 days. So If you have not received PCC after normal time, you must ask them a copy in 90 days.

mine passed 90 days unfortunately so ı need to re-apply.

If You have already provided CIC with FBI certs then why u need those again ??

FBI shipped them to my friend in the USA and my friend forwarded me scanned copy. I asked him to keep originals in a secure location. He lost them!.

Incase CIC asks for originals on an interview or at the border, I am planning to re apply.

You stop getting panic. Upload the explanation letter (delay in getting FBI along with courier delivery confirmation and PCC filled application form ) to the window which is given for FBI upload, few days before the deadline date .

You will get extension , they know that it will take more than three months . so be cool 8)

This is what the confusion is. The point where we have to upload document doumemt when I click there further boxes open. Like document name. Issue date. Expiry date etc. I don't have document and I cannot put LOE there. So I have raised a CSE . What I have done is right thing??

As per the info from forum , most of the members used Dummy numbers for (dates and FBI report no) like 00000000

and they were successful in getting extension . In my knowledge no one got extension via CSE . Make sure to upload one request as mentioned before the deadline date in the upload window. It will get your request straight to the officer in charge unlike CSE...
