I have a question.
When do the charge credit cards?? The day of opening or the day of processing????
If I am in the US, how many days does it take me to receive it??

I sent mine on 21 and it was delivered on 24th of July.

Whoa! Thanks for that. Mine is July 17 - getting nervous. I hope fingerprints will be accepted.
Sorry I don't have an answer to your question. My thinking is they charge the CC on opening day.

My application reached FBI on July 17 (which apparently they began opening today), and I just checked my CC, and saw they charged my CC on September 24!?

Seems like the info they give over the phone is not that reliable.

I called them today afternoon
Opening - 14th July
Processing - 9th July ..

My application reached on 13th July they charged my credit card on 25th Sept ....they asked me to call next week ....fingers crossed !!!

Called them again today ...they said processing is complete and they sent it to me today morning ... does that mean everything was OK/positive ?? how much time they normally take to deliver in ON Canada ? do they send any email too ??

It is so rediculous that this process takes so long!! What are you doing?? Add two people to the office and finish these two months! To be in sync with the flow.

Why are these americans allways looking for some kind of drama. As if they want to show off that their FBI check is extremely important!

FBI is driving me crazy :-X :-\. My application reached on July 16th. I called them today and asked for update. The lady told me that "It (not sure whether the report or the rejection letter) will be finished in the next couple of days and it will be mailed out to me." So I asked if that means the fingerprints were accepted and she just repeated the same as before, so I hung up. Why couldn't she just answer my question. I have a deadline, and I don't even know whether I should submit new fingerprints, contact CIC and ask for extension, or just wait for the report. This is so frustrating. Sorry for the rant. :'(

Hello! I think you should try again in a couple of days and ask again if your fingerprints are fine. When I called, the officer who assisted me was a very nice man and he told me that my fingerprints had been accepted and the report was mailed to me, so It depends on the operator.

Give it one week more and insist for an answer.

Thank you Eliza. I will be definitely calling them again on Monday, and everyday until they tell me what is happening.

My FBI timeline was - Applied in July 15 - CC Charged - Sep 22 - Courier received at US address - Oct 3rd.

My question is that - After receiving FBI copy do we need to send report to CIC in sealed envelope of FBI or we can open that and send that report to them?

You can open ot and depending on the type of your application, you may beed to scan it or send its hard copy to CIC.

You can open it and yiu actually should. Because they may have made a mistake or there may have been a case of identity theft and you will know from the report.
Then, depending on the type of your application, you may need to scan it or send its hard copy to CIC.

I just called the FBI customer service. My application reached on July 20th and they are opening July 20th now but they were not able to tell me if my fingerprints were accepted. Should I call back and see if another agent says something else?

Check your credit card see if they have charged you.
The info on the phone is not updated. If tgey say 20th it is probably 25 or 26.

I actually paid via money order so I can't really tell that way.

Hey, how come they couriered the report? I thought they only send by USPS regular service.
