My file was received by FBI on 26th June 2015. By when you think I will receive PCC. My ITA last date is - 9th sept 2015

i've sent the fingerprint card will all flat prints rather than rolling them, will this be a problem. Also wht does "ORI" mean in the fingerprint card, is it necessary as i've left it blank as well...

You may be cutting a little close to that date. I submitted my fingerprints on April 14th and got the report back on July 6th, a total of 12 weeks if yours take the same amount of time you'd be looking into getting your report back on September 21st (almost two weeks after your deadline). You should plan on submitting a letter of explanation with all the documentation you sent to the FBI. And send the report later as a CSE.

Good luck!

They specifically said to roll the fingers while taking prints. Not sure if it will be accepted till we hear from them. But i think that if you have doubts on the prints then its better you send one more set now as it takes 3 months to get to know on results.

ORI - I dont think its applicable like few other fields. Refer the instructions.

Thanks for the info.. good luck

It should not take more than 2-3 weeks. I think it takes around 2 weeks to India based on previous posts so you should have got it by now. You can ask fbi again on the date they sent. If its same date then you can ask them if they can issue a duplicate report.

my fingerprints was refused first time and I only sent one fingerprints copy. Second time, I desperately asked for 5 copies but fortunately i met the chief officer that day, he only made 2 for me and did a second round check with other staff. This time it went through. My advices are : don't loose hope, try as many as possible, even different police offices. I finished my landing in July and my FBI PCC sent in May. I took my finger in MA, USA

Hello,

Can we request FBI to issue additional copy of PCC when we submit our fingerprints?

Yes.

If the request is for multiple copies per person, include $18 for each copy requested.

16-Jul update:
Opening 1-May
Processing 27-Apr

17-Jul update:
Opening 4-May
Processing 4-May (My application is in the system as of today. I am guessing some agents are using the term processing and mailing(/fingerprint acceptance/record check) differently.
Mailing out 28-Apr

Anyway i will know on my applications (both of us) by Tuesday/Wednesday. Let us see if the self taken prints worked.

Hello, what is the opinion on sending a letter of explanation (with proof of submission) for FBI PCC? Does this actually delay processing of the immigration application (I am applying under the express entry scheme)? Is it better to decline the ITA and wait to have the PCC on hand before submitting the application?

Hi, did you e-mail FBI in regards to your fbi report? I e-mail last week and they did not received anything. My fingerprints reached FBI on Apr 30th and I checked my credit card statement and it was charged on Jul 17th.
