quick question guys, Thanks much in advance!!

Just received the SCAN COPY of my Police Report from my Home Country in my email, will it work or do I need the originals?

I assume you mean to submit to the VO. If yes, then you need the originals and they should not be no more than a year old. Copies will not do. (You may need to translate it if its not in English/French.)

Update on this - I received the official communication from FBI today and as predicted the reason is the first and most common one "L0008
the quality of characteristics is too low to be used (determined by the FBI's Next Generation Identification Technology)". Thanks!

I'm sorry about your situation. :-\
I'm curious if you sent multiple finger prints or just one. If you are doing this again please send multiple fingerprints.

Should
I request Fbi to reissue the pcc
OR
Start the process from scratch, like again do I have to go for fingerprinting, form and other things?

Please suggest!!!!

I called FBI office today , the lady told me it should be done in one week time.

Yes I have done mine from karachi...from garden police headquarter just go there and tell that ur their for finger print they will guide u.. Officer who is doing this's has metallic finger printing kit from FBI..he is very nice and cooperative .. And on top of that they don't charge for this. I have done yesterday again coz FBI Pcc is taking time I also applied for state Pcc .

I know ... this is really frustrating... I hope they start processing faster and stick to their estimated timelines mentioned in their website.
This is 14th week now and they still have not processed our applications.
I got my fingerprints done by a professional agency. But I still am nervous to see if mine would be accepted. ??? ??? ???

On a side note,
Did anyone was able to submit state PCC to CIC and had their fbi pcc waived off?
I stayed in 3 states and would need all 3 PCC's

You can always collect the State PCC and keep it as back up just in case it works and our expert FBI people cannot read your fingerprints.

I collected PCC from 4 states. Kept it as a backup. Fortunately I got my FBI PCC just in time.

If you have not traveled to US after you had received the FBI PCC I think you are good. Submit that with a letter stating that you had not traveled after the report

But if you are still in US , I think you apply soon.

I was in Wyoming-USA for 6 months. My question is do I need a PCC from Wyoming State also? I have already applied for PCC-FBI. In short, what I want to ask is do I need a PCC from FBI & Wyoming? or only FBI-PCC is sufficient? It will be great if you shade some light on my query.

FBI is sufficient. People are talking about state PCC as back up if FBI PCC is delayed.

If you sent today probably you need to wait for atleast two months before you call them again as they dont entertain unless you have completed 8-10 weeks of waiting period.

2. Yes . YOU can do it yoursef. Please see my previous post as how to do it. No need for employer and sign

Any good soul could please call FBI and figure out what day are they working on now ?
We are 15th Oct and they said to call again on 29th (next Thrusday). Last call I gave (two days back) they were working on 6th October apps.
