Best thing to do is expect the worst, so I suggest you to request your FBI PCC regardless of anyone's guess and in case your Local VO doesnt ask for it, you just throw it away. Perhaps they dont request since you hadnt been there for more than 6 months.

Yes !! My spouse has only completed 5 months 10 days on the day of MR/RPRF/PCC request but NDVO has asked for FBI PCC with 12 weeks deadline !

Application received on 27th October !! C.C not yet charged ! 7 weeks getting over

What is the current C.C charging date ?

My dead line for submission 11th Feb(7 More weeks left ) ! Will i be able to meet this ?

Yes..there is a form given in the FBI-CJIS web page for reporting address change , you need to fill it send to them with the applicant signature.
I think you have the option of e-mailing them also.

+1/ Thanks a bunch

There is a form that you must have filled up where you say where and how long you stayed outside your home country in the last 10 years. In that form, if you stated 5 months and 10 days, then the chances of NDVO calling for your FBI PCC are 50:50. They may call for it if they feel the need. As such, as per their Specs, you dont need PCC.

I am sure you know, it only takes 18$ + courier charges to request your FBI PCC. There is no harm if you request for it immediately. In case if NDVO asks for it later, you will save some precious time since you would have requested it already. Remember to provide a US shipping address if possible (friend / relative) that way you will save a good 2 weeks of transit time, since otherwise, FBI would ship to India via USPS government postal service. When the package reaches India Post office, it can take forever, sometimes even get lost or misplaced, and you cant do anything about it.

Buddy, I lived in US for less than 5 months and still I am asked to submit FBI pcc. My VO is SGVO. If I had known this I would have submitted the pcc months ago. Now I am stuck with the FBI pcc and no PPR yet.

Get an submission extension from NDVO, thats the best thing to do. My original deadline was Dec 16 to submit FBI PCC, but got it extended for 60 days. I am Oct 24 FBI PCC application and in wait game :(

Hi ,

I have applied for FBI PCC and used Credit card as payment method.

I have used HDFC credit card and in the payment form it asks for credit card number , Expiry date and CVV no etc.

While I make online transactions , payment asks for 3D secure pin.

How does FBI bypass this 3D secure pin validation during the payment?

Do I have to inform the bank to deactivate the 3D secure pin validation temporarily till FBI charges the CC?

Please help me with the issue.

Application received by FBI on the 28th of Oct. No charge on the credit card so far. Its X-mas (and new year) time and I think they'll start working on our applications again from about Monday, January 5, 2015.

Application reached Oct 31, CC not yet charged !! Is this concerning ?

Based on the pace at which FBI is processing applications, you still have a month to go before they even open yours. The last we heard, they were opening Oct 15 applications. :(

Hi,

I sent Minnesota state PCC, in place of FBI PCC and explained them that FBI Clearance will be delayed and if they can consider State PCC. The request and State PCC might have reached today and will let the group know if State PCC was okay to them.

Hello Venkat - What was thier reponse to state PCC ? Did they accept your Minnesota PCC or they are still want to get FBI clearance .
