I think the same.. doesnt make any sense for me too.So basically you still need to mail the fingerprint card, from which they still need 3-4 months to open it?

That's not what I understood. You submit your request online. And once they receive your fingerprint card with the online confirmation number, they estimate 48 hours to process your request, in the order it was received. I went through the whole link, all that we filled in the personal particulars form is online now, including the payment part. You have option to get a hard copy of your result too to a given mailing address.I think the same.. doesnt make any sense for me too.
So that means they need to have a separate group of workers just specifically open the eDO mails? Are we sure about that? Or they just put back to the end of the current line? That's not what I understood. You submit your request online. This does seem to simplify things, except that you still need to mail/express your fingerprint card.
I just called the customer service. They said new process is different and backlog from old process has nothing to do with new process.I think the same.. doesnt make any sense for me too.
Yes and No. Check my comment above! So basically you still need to mail the fingerprint card, from which they still need 3-4 months to open it?
You would always have to mail the fingerprint card. The wait time has been reduced significantly. Also, the application and payment is electronic now, compared to the old process. That's not what I understood. You submit your request online. The mailing address for the eDO has a line saying ATTN: Electronic Summary Check, which indicates that those mail is being opened by a separate dept/entity/personnel. And I have verified it over the phone too.So that means they need to have a separate group of workers just specifically open the eDO mails? Are we sure about that? If you made separate payments then I would use two different envelopes with different confirmations just to avoid any confusions.can I put two applicants' finger print cards in the same envelope and label two confirmation numbers on the envelope?
I don't see why not. I would put the two applications in two different envelops and put those two envelopes in a courier envelope and mail it.can I put two applicants' finger print cards in the same envelope and label two confirmation numbers on the envelope?
