As advised by deepcur and jhuluri here (i apologise if i got ur ids wrong), I wrote to the fbi with my first and last name and asked for a status. They replied within the hour stating that they were currently opening packages recieved on 9th of feb and the current processing time after they recieve the package is approximately 7-8 weeks and they were unable to provide any information before then. They also said that I should check with my courier facility and check with them if the package is delivered. This is just information, in case someone is in the same situation as mine

Thank you for this. My package was delivered to them on 22nd Feb and I was hoping that my CC would be charged in next week, but looking at the reply they gave you, I doubt if it will be charged any time soon !

Cant they employee more people and hurry up the process!!! God this is soooo frustrating!

My one package got delivered to FBI on 24th Feb and another for my husband, got delayed, delivered on 27th Feb. I will contact them probably on Monday i.e. 27th March, just to know the status.

My FBI prints reached them on 27 February and based on the information set out above, I am not expecting my CC to be charged before 1 April. Will keep you all posted if I hear anything before then... although I am using DinaV as a marker for my process! :-*

I thought they expedited the process, but unfortunately again they are delaying the application request.
How difficult is it to manage the packages received and open and charge the CC ? For that they take 5-6 weeks !!?!

Myself and my wife's timeline so far
Package delivered on 1/25 - for both of us
CC charged today (2/27) - for both of us
Report mailed out (3/13) - for both of us to same address in US (confirmed date by calling FBI customer care)
Received my wife's report on 3/17, still waiting for my report.

Did you send the ink rolled fingerprints? if yes, how many sets?

Finally, my credit card got charged just now

Package delivered on 10th feb
CC charged on 22nd March

I mailed them today to enquire, they said they are opening packages received on 9th February. Well, my package reached on 10thFeb. Fingers crossed.

Looks like they have slowed down again. They had caught up for a couple of weeks.

Why does it take 15 days for shipping in US itself? Are they using some really crappy shipping service? Maybe, because what else can you expect at just $18.

Hello guys, I need to apply for my PCC although they did not request them yet. Can anyone help me on how to do the process by which where I have to do the finger prints. Is it better to pay with a CC or money order. and The address that I should mail the finger print and the form is in Clarksburg, West Virginia right ?
