FBI PCC

today i went to get a state police certificate (NY) .. I got my home country PCC so I am thinking to send these two for the time being and will request to consider this and i will mention that I had 2013 original copy with my main application ..

in no way I will get my FBI report before Feb 2015 hence this will be my last chance ..

I did exactly the same. Got the NY PCC in 7 days and my home country PCC in 10 days.
FBI PCC expected to come in only on February.
Crossing my fingers if everything's goes through.

did you send those ? what did you write in cover letter? did they response back with anything ?

I sent it yesterday and it reached only today.
I mentioned about my current documents being sent along with NY state PCC
I mentioned that my expected FBI report will reach on February.
I requested them to extend my due date for submission.

Also sent a print out of FBI website state it takes 12 weeks.

in the above link it is written that state certificates can be requested by visa office . but FBI report is the main one .. I am not sure whether they will accept it or not. But FBI report really takes 12-13 weeks officially.

I will just take a chance with the state certificate.. lets see what happens..

I am still waiting to get this one also .. may be 10 days later.

I believe state PCC should be provided only if asked for.
But given the current situation, I hope CPC-O gives you guys a waiver.

Thank you rpishere While the FBI does not communicate clearly if the Finger prints are accepted or not, some folks in this forum seem to have ideas from experience. (For e.g. ''subho1984'' post on pg. 22 of this thread.) Hence my question. Also in addition to the report date, you also get an idea when they put it into the machine (search completed on date).

If my fingerprints are accepted, then I think I can wait. I am already at the end of my extension, so I am a bit hesitant to ask for a second extension.

Go ahead and ask for another extension. I think communicating to the VO about your situation is important.

I called in this morning to find out they are processing applications received on September 8.

I have been calling FBI for quite some time now and what I understand is that these guys have no clue until the letter is dispatched from FBI. If they are telling you they are processing Sep 8 that means till septemder 7th they have already dispatched the reports . They might have also put September 8th in their system at least 3 -4 days back . But if the finger prints gets rejected they will only be able to tell after the letter being sent out.

I have a whatsapp group for tracking FBI PCC. One of the members got his FBI PCC. Below are his timelines.

Application received 2nd Sep
CC charged 18th Sep
Search Completed 07th Nov
Letter date 21nd Nov
Letter received 04th Dec

This guy asked about his report around the end of Nov. But they told it was in process. He got his report on 4th Dec

Hope it helps to extrapolate the timelines of those who are waiting.

Thank you for your encouragement. I will do this. I think I will wait till the middle of next week, though. By then I think I might get a hint if my finger prints are accepted or not. Your other post showing someone with application date 2nd Sept, gives me hope. I am a week away from 2nd Sept, so I may get it next week.
