FBI PCC

Hi,

i have sent in my FBI PCC to CIC (Via CSE) yesterday. They have sent me a response saying they have attached it to my profile/application. However, I did not see it within my submitted documents page..

is it supposed to be that way?

please assist

The link on on MyCic account, where i should upload the FBI PCC is gone!!!. I cant see the application anymore. I have an extension until 18th of March. but they link is gone apparently after a month. Does anybody have any idea what`s going on?

Does anyone know how long does it take the CIC VO to start review one's application after submission of FBI PCC (after having received an initial time extension)..?

Hi Aeropostale. I think it is very difficult to answer your question. Depends on the visa officer. I noticed that you received AOR in October. You should know the decision by March I think because quite a lot September folks are currently getting PPRs. I guess you need to wait for a couple of weeks. I also have a question. Did you submit your FBI PCC via CSE or you uploaded in the submitted section. Also, did you receive an acknowledgement about the same? Thanks..

Yes submit via CSE. I did that last night and got a reply this morning. I'm still waiting for them to start processing again as all the documents required are submitted.

Hi,

You're right... I have to be a little more patient... I just wanted to know if anyone else was in a similar situation...

on your query.. there are 2 things after you submit your application with an LOE requesting for extension of time ...

1. You get your FBI PCC before they give you an extension (that means they have not got to that point in your application). You upload it via CSE. You'll get a acknowledgement mail within 2 weeks that the additional document has been included in your application.

2. You get an extension mail from CIC in your myCIC account, then you upload your FBI PCC where you had uploaded your documents and then click on submit application again (This is what I did). you will not get a separate acknowledgement mail... It will reflect under your application status in myCIC account (under additional document requested as submitted).

It's extraordinary that you received a response so soon. I think you should be fine and that they will process your application soon.
By the way, did you use the Canada CSE, or the Singapore CSE form?

My PCC request reached FBI on Jan 25th, 2016. I got an ITA on Feb 10th, 2016.

I have collected all the required documents except FBI police clearance certificate.

Should I submit the documents including a Letter of Explanation as to why I am not able to obtain a PCC from FBI today or should I wait till the end of 60-day period?

Will the processing start if I submit it today without the PCC or will there be no processing until they receive a PCC?

I do not know my processing office yet. so i just submitted thru CSE on the CIC site

Update:

My Time lines Below..


Date my application reached FBI - 16th Sep 2015
Date my Credit card was charged - 30th Dec 2015
Sent a request to change delivery address to US - 30th Dec 2015
Date my Application was processed - 31st Dec 2015
Date my Application was mailed (to India Address) - 4th Jan 2016

Called them and requested them to sent my report to US address on 14th Jan 2016

1st Report received - 22nd Jan 2016 (US Address)
2nd Report received - 10th Feb 2016 (Indian Address)

Took about a week to reach US address and more than a month to reach Indian address..

Submit near the end. if you submit today, your 60 day extension will start earlier as compared to you submitting later. either way, you will not get the FBI cert within the 60 days window for sure. mine took 4 mths to come.
