How do they send the PCC report ?

Normal Mail or Courier ?

I gave my office address .. If its normal mail , I don't even know where they will throw it or If it gets lost among thousands of mail (mobile bills, CC bills of all employees..)

Hi guys,

Yesterday we called and they told us our fingerprints were rejected, so start over. I wrote to CIC for an extension due to the circumstances. So finger crossed because is 3 months more of wait. Anyone knows if an state clearance could work instated of the FBI clearance? We'll travel to NYC next october so we're planning to get it but dont know if it would work too.

They send it via normal mail.

May b you can. Call them at +1 304 625 5590 and find out. They will also tell you the procedure.

You don't need to call them. On their website you can find a Change of address form, fill it up, and email it to the address provided on the form. I believe it's liasion@leo.gov.

They reply within 5 days saying your form has been forwarded to the correct department.

That's what I did and it worked.

As at July when I called, they were working on application received on June 16th.

Hello, The FBI report that I received has a problem.
It has typo error on my name and I checked my sent forms, they have correct name written.

What should be done in that case ? Calling the FBI to request a corrected copy will work ?
Also, the report clearly says that it does not cover state level arrest check. Will a separate PCC report be needed for state also ?

separate state level PCC is not required , if you have FBi in hand . Its the only document CIC is asking for people visited USA for more than 6 months.

Regarding the name issue , contact FBI over mail and phone , and ask them to give a resolution...

I called Friday: They said my application (received June 17th) was accepted and the results will be sent out next Tuesday because Monday is a federal holiday.

To give some of you peace of mind, I did the fingerprints myself using an ordinary stamp ink pad. I sent the letter (June 9th from Toronto) using the cheapest available option with no tracking whatsoever. So just be optimistic and just wait patiently. I didn't think much of this but then this forum actually made me more scared than I needed to be. I hope people reading this feel more at ease. I think as long as you rolled your fingers nail to nail per the instructions and didn't press too hard, things should work out just fine.

I will suggest you send it that way to CIC. pretend like you didnt see the error in your name except the error is just too much.
in the mean time, request for another FBI report just incase CIC asks you to send another FBI report.
Also attach receipt of payment you made for the FBI report (not necessary but just for back up)
