Are the other forms of taken fingerprints,acceptable from FBI?So can I use the form that is used in my counry Instead of the form the FBI asks for?
Anyone can answer..

i downloaded the fbi forms from their website on a thick card stock and they worked fine. Not sure about the other available formats.......

" Your name and date of birth must be provided on the card. Fingerprints should be placed on a standard fingerprint form (FD-258) commonly used for applicant or law enforcement purposes. "

You can print the form out from their website, per http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/faqs.html

"6. Can I use the fingerprint card I download from this site?

Yes. We will accept the downloaded paper fingerprint card only for the purpose of requesting an FBI Identification Record. If you go to a law enforcement agency or private fingerprinting agency to be fingerprinted, they may prefer to use a fingerprint card on standard card stock. You may use the fingerprint card provided by the printing agency. "

Hi,

What option should we select on the FBI record request/application for Return Mail Options from below (as given on the application form)?

1. FEDEX Account #
2. Prepaid Return Envelope (Enclosed)
3. First-Class Mail

Also, I need to send application for both my wife and myself. Should we send 02 separate applications or 2 applications in same envelope or 1 application with both names on the same?

Please help
