FBI fingerprint records check

Hi All,

i have sent my finger print records to FBI on February 2017 and my card was charged by FBI on march 2017, today when i contacted FBI they say that my results are sent on march 17th 2017. But i have not received them at all. is there anyone way one can track the document and what are my chances now ?

Did you have it sent in your own address? It could have been lost or something. Or it could have taken a while if it was sent in your home country and not in a US address. If it's indeed lost in transit, then call them and ask if they can mail the results again.

how did any of you get the finger prints for FD-258 taken? I just bought a fingerprint ink pad and took simple prints. Sent it to FBI and now when I see videos on YouTube, I feel I may be wrong. Anyone whose prints were accepted ?

I am also in a similar situation. FBI said they mailed my results on Aug08. I received mu wife's result on Aug11 but not received mine yet. Seems odd as there is no reason why my results should be delayed by over a week when we applied together and I am the primary applicant.

CIC has given me 60days to submit the FBI report and now only 45 days are left.

Does anyone know in this situation will FBI mail my report again? How to contact them?

Or will I have to apply for FBI report all over again? Not sure in this situation will CIC agree to extend my deadline again, they already extended it by 60days for the FBI report to be submitted.

Any ideas, thoughts or way ahead if someone faced similar situation are welcome and much appreciated.

hi all ,

though late reply, i have emailed FBI, i got a response saying they have already mailed my documents to home country(india), on '3/17/17'.

they in return said that, since it has been 90 days(my results have been destroyed) . i have to again follow all the document process. this is so frustrating . i have contacted to below email id with FBI identity@ic.fbi.gov. any luck for other people, who were in same situation but got the documents at very late stage?

I went to my local Sheriffs department/Police Station to have a special immigration type fingerprint card done....sent that in August 2016, 6 months later, received a letter that they were unable to read my prints....6 months later! I went to a place in Ottawa, ON, and they did them electronically and I sent them in...that took 4 months to receive back a letter with results that was to be submitted to Canada Immigration. I had received a request to send my FBI clearance to Canada Immigration via my linked account and was told I had 30/ or 90 days I believe (one was for medical), and I luckily received my clearance a few days after my CIC request!!! Long story short.....DON'T WAIT, send out ASAP as they are backlogged and have been months behind on FBI clearances!
