FBI Fingerprint current wait times?

The FBI website says processing is taking 5-6 weeks. My husband submitted his fingerprints just over 6 weeks ago, and nothing yet...we don't see that our credit card has been charged yet, either. Anyone else done FBI fingerprint check in the past couple of months? How long did it take? Does anyone have a phone number where we can call to inquire?

Did you send the mail inside Canada. If so, add about a month to processing times.

Thanks amikety. No, we are both living in the States, so we mailed from Seattle. We had done the FBI fingerprint check earlier this year, but then we didn't get the other pieces of the application together within the three months that the FBI check is valid for, so we had to do another one. The one back in May/June only took 4 weeks to get. I was hoping there would be others who sent to the FBI this Fall to see how long it is taking others.
