Thats seems to be odd.

I myself have gone through many official channelers... and all said: green card holder or citizen, which i am not.... so I am assume it would be scam.

I know!!! but we contacted Reliability Screening Solutions Inc. http://reliabilityscreening.ca/international/
1025 Richmond Road, Suite 107
Ottawa ON K2B 8G8
Canada

They said, they have done the process through TRP Associations, LLC dba ID Solutions
www.trpassociates.net which is in the FBI approved channelers list https://www.fbi.gov/services/cjis/compact-council/list-of-approved-channelers.

However, we are trying to verify that. We will call FBI and TRP both to make sure.

Guys, I had submitted my express entry application back in March 2016. Since FBI clearance is taking around 90 days, here is what I did:
1. Got a PCC also done from the local police station
2. Wrote a letter explaining the situation with FBI clearance with my signature

Submitted these two documents along with my clearance from India (Chicago Embassy) when I submitted my application.
In the last week of April I got the request for FBI clearance documents from CIC, and as people have rightly said, CIC gives you 60 days to submit the required documents. I received the FBI clearances by then and then submitted those to CIC.

Hope this helps.
For how long were you in US. i was there for 140 days and my wife for 60 and i dont have any exp docs that support this. I have written that in the LOE. the worst thing is i dont even know my SSN as this happened 8 yrs back.i lost it. I know thats careless but now what can i do . CIC hasnt asked me for PCC for US but they might. so wanted to prepare for it.

Hey guys, I need your advice. I have received my ITA recently and requested my FBI certificate immediately - have all the proofs with photos and tracking number. I have collected all the other documents within 20 days - so I have about 40 days before deadline. Is it okay to submit my application now so they can start to check all the other documents, and then submit the FBI cert as soon as it will be ready? Or is it better to wait until deadline? Thanks in advance.

@Monzur: Hi I just wanted to know if you figured out from TRP associates that this "Reliability screening solution inc" is genuine or not?

Thanks
Sam

Over phone TRP said they have dealings with Reliability but did not comment on specific case due to confidentiality issue I guess. I am going in anyways, since I dont have any other options. My wife's 2 direct application to FBI rejected and we lost 8 months. Her fingerprint was not improving and only the digital one taken by Reliability gave result. I will attached LOE with all information and let them decide. Pray for me.

Hi Monzur,

Thanks a lot for replying. Definitely I will pray :). Keep us posted if possible when you get your electronic FBI clearance. I am assuming you are not a green card holder or US citizen. I knew so far that channellers are only available to US citizen or green card holders.

Have you got the answer you're looking for? I'm in the same boat and would love to know as well. Thanks.

Yes. It's better to wait until you get FBI report.

Mailed a request on 22 Dec 2017 which was received on 27 Dec 2017 (Merry Christmas!)
Called FBI today and they said they are opening Nov. 28 mail as of today

Their website now says processing takes 14-16 weeks from the date received. This was confirmed by phone as well.

Have resubmitted through eDO to see if that will speed things up. Wish that had been an option back in December, but glad to try it now. 16 weeks will miss the deadline requested by CIC.

My husband resubmitted through eDO and recieved his 5 business days later! :)

Wow, that's encouraging- congratulations.

Here's hoping for a repeat or something similar!

Hope you receive the same luck. Fingers crossed for you! :)

Seems your crossed fingers did the trick. Received the report back today. Here's the history:
Dec. 22, 2017 Original paper application submitted by mail
Dec. 27, 2017 paper application received
March 9, 2018 called for status- told they were opening Nov. 28 mail
March 9, 2018 resubmitted by eDO
March 10, 2018 received email confirmation of eDO application
March 16, 2018 received email link to completed background check

And today was notified that a medical examination is required which can only be done by a certified provider. Not covered by my insurance of course- $451.00.

Win some, lose some, but moving forward!

I can't answer that since each application is different and mine is still in process. Maybe someone else with better knowledge will chime in here.
