^ yes, it may be a bit early. I called them last week and they said they could not find my name in the system.
My papers reached them on March 22nd.
Day before yesterday, they responded to an email enquiry I had sent and in that they said my application was received and was "in process".
Also see my post above - the lady at the customer service had informed that not being in the system does not mean that your papers are not received!

Hello Everyone,

Go to a police station or any law enforcement agency and get your fingerprints. Do not do them yourself as they will be rejected and add unnecessary delay to your application

Guys I finally Found a really nice place for getting your fingerprints done in Delhi.

Truth Labs
A1/132 Safdurjung enclave.
011-41354431.
They charge 1000 Rs and are experienced , qualified and really nice people.

Hi Edithm,

The best fingerprinting service in Manila would have to be at NBI Carriedo in Quiapo. It costs 20 pesos each, as I recall. You just need to bring your new fingerprint cards and pay, then line up for fingerprinting. Try to get extra copies if you're sending it to West Virginia for FBI so you wouldn't have to resend in case one of the cards are rejected.

:)

I sent my fingerprint FD form "Your item was delivered at 11:44 AM on April 23, 2010 in CLARKSBURG, WV 26301.", I sent domestic from USA, and I sent email today and they reply me back that my case is not logged-in still.

I received my FBI clearance(no arrest record ceritificate) today by mail.
My application had reached them on March 22nd and their letter is dated 6th May 2010.
So the process took me about 7 weeks.
I had made an expedite request and marked the envelope outside with the same message also.
Much relieved!!

MC, It may take about a week from my experience.
You can call them too.

Heyy Honolulu

Thnx, yeh Ill call them today and ask.

Today I got reply of my email from laison email service : The normal processing time is 13 weeks. It can take 10 weeks to clear security, before we are able to see any request in our system. There is no way to expedite any process at this time. Please allow the full processing time to complete your request. Thank you!

Thats similar to what they said to me on the phone.
But I still got it in 7 weeks.
I think 13 weeks is a maximum and it just may turn out to be faster.

omm,

dont worry ... i got it in 9 weeks ... even when they told me it will take 13 weeks and i got it the same evening.
