FBI Clearance Certificate

Hi,
Regarding my Immigration to Canada, Immigration office asked me to submit FBI Certificate within 6 weeks i.e. within 05/01/2012. I have completed finger Print on 03/19/2012 and forwarded the document same day to FBI.In this case may I get Certificate on specified time? if I do forward the same email of Canadian Immigration to me to FBI? What is the normal length of getting Certificate?In case if I could not get it on time, can I get time extension from Canadian Immigration to submit it ? Plz Help

last year i applied for fbi clearance in june and received the clearance certificate in september.

so you should be prepare as you need...............

It usual takes 6-8 weeks to get the FBI PCC.

I sent the fingerprints on Jan.17th and received it on March 9th.

In my case the period given to send the PCC to VO was 3 months from the letters date (Jan 10th).

It takes from 8-12 weeks to get the FBI clearance letter. If you still do not get it by the date, you can always send them the proof/note that you have applied for it and waiting and will send the certificate as soon as you receive it.

i sent fbi request on jan 3 and i got on feb 15 ..so u shld be prepared early

U can make a call ,They will ask for the return mailing address that u had mentioned
on the application for verification purpose .After giving that they will tell u the status of ur file.

U can send a mail also ,will get reply within 4-5 days .
