FBI clearance - Can I send it a later date?

My payment was approved this morning. Yeah, I made the payment without realizing that I needed an FBI Clearance. The thing is, I still have to process it. Since it will take them 3 months to process this time around, can I send my application now and explain to them that the FBI clearance is in process and will be sent at a later date? Or do I wait and send them altogether? Really need your advise guys. Your reply would be very much appreciated.

No, you need a good explanation on why you are not providing a police certificate. "It takes a while to get it" is not a good explanation. You need to get the certificate first.

I would say that is alright. If you want to be extra sure you can ask for a refund (info on the CIC page) and pay a again later.
