FBI channelers

The most recent posts I've seen on this topic are from 2012 so I wanted to ask about any up-to-date information, namely:

Has anyone used a FBI channeler to get the background check done? My wife qualifies for that service but some older posts on this topic suggest that Immigration Canada won't accept those. But there is a link to approved channelers on the Immigration website so I'm guessing they would...?

Just wanted to double-check to see if anyone else has experience with this. Given the 10-12 week wait period at the FBI right now, it would be great to expedite this. (And yes, I know we should have applied long ago--but we didn't so here we are.)

2 weeks. I would use them again. We are going to use field print next though.
