Hi there, where did you send your request from? I had requested my FBI record as well and was told the same thing but received it at the 6 weeks mark. I had included an overnight return Fedex shipment slip. I would email the Buffalo office and inform them of the situation and see what they say (they're pretty good at responding to emails). I'd make sure to call the FBI customer service line as well after the 5th week and see if they have more information on when it'll be mailed out (1st time i called i got no information, 2nd time i was told it was being processed and 3rd time they actually gave me a specific date for completion). That's exactly what happened with mine. Credit card was debited after four weeks and it took another week for me to receive the report (it was actually a little less than 6 weeks) but it would have taken longer to get to me if it was through snail mail.
