Fax Number of CIC office in Vancouver

I need to reschedule our test date as we are away on vacation. I read I have to send a letter with explanation why we are not showing up for the test.

i would like to send a fax as well in order for them to receive it before the actual test.

Does someone know the fax number of CIC Vancouver office?
Or can I send it to any CIC office?

somehow I am not comfortable sending ONLY a fax. You know how they can just be left at the machine. Given CIC workload and track record sometimes with mail, I would want to be 200% sure that there is tracking- i.e. sending a letter through courier or registered post (ESP. for something so important as a test).

If they don't set your fax aside and use it to update the system, YOU will be impacted, they (when you ring the Call Centre) could simply say later on...yes sir..these things happen..you may have sent a fax but we sorry I don't see a record of it....did you also send us a letter ?

And then you are going to feel bad over lost time...so PLEASE SEND A LETTER WITH TRACKING !

I did send a letter at the same time, but it will take about a week to arrive because we are in Europe now, the reason for postponing after all. I will call when we are back to ask, and then we will still be within the 30 days we have time to give them notice of why we did not show up.
