Father's surnamename mismatch

I am applying for visa for sep 2012 intake.
In all my documents( excluding birth's certificate) my father's surname is Sharma, where as his actual surname which he uses in his all documents( bank statements, savings, cpf etc) is kumar.
He is my sponcer.
Kindly tell me whether it can create any problem with visa officer.

I would appreciate help.

Definitely it will create a problem !!!

It will create problem. U can solve it by writing cover letter that explain ur father name separately and attach on the top of ur file.

Actually his real surname is "kumar". It is not easy for me to get all my certificates correct. So can i add an affidavit from my father in file? Can this wrong surname in my certificates create an issue even if he add affidavit with file.

I think they don't have time time to verify your father's name or surname.
