Father's name in passport does not match with birth certificate. Should I get father's name updated in Passport before submitting the supervisa appl?

My father's name on my birth certificate is correct however it does not match with his name on my passport. Should I get the father's name updated in the Passport before submitting the supervisa application?

Can anyone confirm. My father's name in my passport has a spelling mistake so looking to get that rectified. But for Supervisa does IRCC validate the parents name from the passport of Sponsor?

Get the problem fixed by correcting the name in the passport and not rely on IRCC to help resolve the issue.
