Fastest process time for spouse sponsership

Hello. I have submitted my application to sponser my wife into Canada. CIC received it on Dec 3. I was wondering if there is no mistakes on my application or additional documents, how long can i expect for my wife to be approved and how long will it take all together to have her here in canada with me?. Applicants from 2017 or 2018 can you please let me know, how long it took you guys to be reunited and in the canada?? Anyone completed everything and reunited in 6months or less?? Thank you for your replies. I am sure lots of recent aplicants, have the same questions as we do.

Mistakes or not no one can say. Background checks can take days or months. Ours took 8 months. Count on 12 months. If it happens sooner, great!!

my friend's case has done within 6 months, meanwhile i am waiting PPR (MAY 28th). the process could be within 12 months or more.

You clearly dont know what you're talking about... higher chances of it being longer then 12 months.. I know couples from africa and central asia who are now living together and it took less then 12 months

Spouses from Afghanistan rarely get approved under 12 months.

All good. Good news comes to those at the right time. Soo we will just wait patiently.. hopefully my case ends up like other couple afghans who were reunited in 8 months, one case in 6 months.
