Wow those are some REALLY fast timelines. Seems like alot of the early April apps were processed MUCH faster than normal...Then after that it's like everyone went on holiday or something.

Sounds like a MAGIC , must be a 1st marriage with no doubts!

I wish that it meant anything to be in your 1st marriage. We are married with three kids and have been living together for almost 9 years now, and didn't hear anything again after AOR on the 23rd of May. :( Hopefully we will get SA soon. :)

Yes it might take regular time since you have dependents and they have to process visas for all of them.

Our kids are all Canadian citizens. :) I am just freaking out because most people who got AOR after us got their SA, BR and maybe even MR within a couple of days after and we did not.

They don't care if our children are Canadians, they look at many other factors, your children are not part of the application, the one you sponsor is. You will eventually get approved, I know it's frustrating specially when we are Canadian born with children that are Canadians, you would think they would treat our applications differently but this is not the case... but judging from the spreadsheet, there is one Country that are getting processed fast, I'm not sure why but this how it is.

I’m happy for those whose files have been processed quickly. However I can’t help wondering why files that have been sent more than a year after mine have already been processed. It’s very confusing.

All just luck of the draw, I think. Some processing centres are faster than others, some individual agents are faster than others... heck maybe sometimes files just get stuck at the bottom of the proverbial— or literal! — pile...

yeah, not just confusing. Upsetting. Good luck to all!

Assume many already had many documents on file or prepared from previous applications. Those approval times are highly irregular.
