Fast Track Program - Advanced Diploma

I hope someone can help me on this.

I am looking into a fast track program, which is an advanced diploma credential. The program is originally for 3 years, but if you have previously obtained a bachelors or diploma, you can get into the fast track program for 16 continuous months. The college mentioned that the credential that will be earned by graduates will be equivalent to the one earned in a 3 year diploma.

1. Can I claim CRS points under “Degree or diploma of 3 years or longer”, which is 15 points more than 1-2 year diploma or certificate?

2. Is this eligible for 2-3 years PGWP?

Thank you.

I am also in the same situation. Can someone clarify this?
I am not 100% sure. But the answer I got from all the people I asked including an immigration lawyer is that our diploma will count as 3 year diploma, for both the CRS points and the PGWP.

Hi,

Is this same goes to 2 years bachelors (after degree)?
What if credits will be give for only 2 years of study period?

The most plausible answer I found is to follow what your certificate says. Mine says 2 year program even though I finished an advanced diploma.

Is it included in the certificate? Because my certificate didn’t mention anything about the length of the program.
