Hi guys,

I have already been working for 1.5 years and has a full time permanent job offer and I submitted this information into EE profile, but CIC still indicated, after I completed my EE profile, that I did not have a job offer and that I need to register with job bank. Also, I did not get any scores for having an arranged employment.

My job is not LMIA approved, is that the reason why it's like this? Do I still need to register with job bank?

Yes, you need to register with Job bank. It's part of the Express Entry process. As for arranged employment, you don't get points if you don't have a LMIA.

Talk to your employer and check if they can get a LMIA done for you.

I called up the CIc office today since I was having some technical difficulties with teh system. It had not calculated all my points.
It says that I qualify under the Canadian Experience Class but they have not given me any points for my Canadian work experience.
I sent an email to the technical office but they say it takes 10 days for them to respond, which leaves me with the question what if in the meanwhile a draw is held and I miss my chance because they have not calculated my points correctly.
Hence I called up the CIC Call Centre to see if they could do anything - they said they could not do anything and if I did not hear back after 10 days I would need to email them again.

I am quite frustrated about the system CIC- Express Entry and I have decided to write a letter to the MP. I was thinking it would be a good idea to get people to sign a petition with the problems faced by us all. I am sure there are 100's of us that don't really agree with their methods and lack of communication

My question to you is how many of you would be interested?

Yes, you need to register with Job bank. It's part of the Express Entry process. As for arranged employment, you don't get points if you don't have a LMIA.

For General IELTS test, your test center is supposed to give you two free copies of results. Please check with them immediately.

One more question, should I just put the reference # of my original report and wait for the new one and then update the reference #? Or should I just wait for the new one? I assume the reference # would be different...

I just updated my EE profile and signed my first name and last name and press transmit. Currently my profile is showing as updated. shouldnt be showing as submitted. that was my status earlier. Am I missing something

I think it takes a lil while before the status gets updated to Submitted.
Have you finished registering on the job bank too? (although i don't think that has anything to do with the EE status)

Hi I did the update yesterday night IST .. I registererd on the day which I created my profile. I believe we have to do that again after 26th. But I didnt do anything regarding that. But the job bank is open now?

No update regarding job bank yet. If you registered the day you created profile then that's that. Nothing more pending until further updates from CIC.
