Please I have question about ECA assessment. I have already done an ECA Assessment of my Masters degree which I have received back already. Do I need to still do an Assessment of my Bachelors degree which I obtained before the Masters?

Yes buddy,

You should have gotten the assessment done together. Sometimes the Bachelors and Masters degree together get considered as equivalent to a Canadian Bachelors Degree.

In any case, please send your Bachelors for assessment ASAP.

But the assessment I did for my Masters (which is my highest qualification yet) says its equivalent to Canadian Masters degree. Does CIC still require you to do an assessment for earlier degrees? I thought the existence of the Masters degree would have covered for the Bachelors?

1) I have got an application no. from CIC after transmitting EE profile. Do i need anything else for creating a job bank account ?
2) I believe given name (Not applicable) and last name (given name) for job bank account should remain same as used for creating EE profile ?

Hi a specific question regarding the arrangement employment. I have a full time employment with an open work permit but no LMIA (since I have an open work permit). Will I be qualified for 600 points of arranged employment? thank you!

hi, I think, but I'm not sure, they consider LMIA JObs for 600 points.. please counter check with CIC!

Hey Guys,

I have submitted my EE on 12th Jan 2015..linked it with job bank on 13th Jan 2015 and my score is 364 and today on 15th Jan I got the update in my application for ITA status :- "No invitation at this time"..Can someone please clarify why its changed to this status,has draw already happened ? or is it normal and everyone have this status before 1st draw supposed to happen on 26th Jan ?

Guide says - No invitation at this time means that you have not been invited to apply at this time..so does this status means I am not eligible and already out of race for Jan draw ?

I tried to modify contents, but it does not allow me, I after changing data,I pressed Next but it does not save or I could not find the transmit button.

Even after pressing save and exit button it goes to previous status and new information is not updated.

What to do now? do you know how to cancel an account or withdraw an application?

I can not find the cancel button or do not know how to cancel my GC Key.

I have tried to update my details after application submission and it works. Please try again. Once you update and do save and exit, after that outside you will not Update not transmitted along with a transmit button.

If you withdraw your application, (which i had done by mistake earlier), you wont be able to resubmit after changes because of issues in their system. Even after withdrawing, i still see it submitted, sent them an email but no response.

So if the update is not working for you, create a new GCKey and new profile with correct information and submit. Revoking the GCKey of current application will not alter your application.

Yes, People with Canadian Education get extra Points depending upon the No. of Years of Canadian Education.. More Canadian Education means Extra Points.

Thanks a lot ! Finally I am able to submit the profile.

What are the next steps for registering in JOB BANK ... should I register in same way as for EE profile i.e. First/given name --> Not applicable and Last Name --> my given name in passport ?

Is there any validation code etc. also required to register in job bank ?

You should see a pdf that contains your EE Refrence code & Job seekers validation code..

Hello, I'm new to this forum.

I shall be applying for ECA report from WES shortly, and before I do that I just need to be clear with my situation maybe someone here be able to help me out.

I got my Masters from Australian University and attended the course at its off-shore campus in India.
Received two marksheet from off-shore campus and one marketsheet (final) from Australian university.

I'm somewhat confused to whom shall I reach-out to obtain official transcripts:
1. Australian University
2. Off-shore Campus in India
3. Both
Also what course duration (from-to) should i need to fill-up in request for transcript form

Or should I don't report masters at all in ECA assessment?

I think you should ask your Offshore Campus in India, they will be in a better position to answer your query!

Dear Friend , if your main NOC (NOC under which you are applying) requires your bachelors degree as minimum qualification then you will need to get ECA for that too..

as told early, If your Bachelors is required as min. qualification for your main NOC, then you have to apply for assesment..
