Re: Common questions

Hello,

I have already cleared IELTS – General test on Sep, 2008 and have sufficient points to support my application. While filling my FSW1 applications, I will give appropriate marks/points (e.g. High or Moderate) to my English language in form Schedule 3 Economic Classes (IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3).

Just want to know
1. Do I have to mention explicit my IELTS score points in covering letter?
2. Do I need to send photo copy of Identity card along with application?
3. Do I need to send my Photo?

please let me know.

Abhishek

Re: Common questions

I have another question

When I filled the application forms first time ( the appropirate funds for three persons was 16,250) and I put 16,500 which is less from 16,580 that mentioned now in the website, so what you recomend to do in the CIC second stage?

Re: Common questions

i would recommend 16500 or higher.

It is not necessary to mention this in the letter. They can see you did better than what you claimed from the result sheet.

i know of someone here who did their IELTS after they got a reply back from Sydney. Just claim enough points to get to 67 and make sure you get those points or higher.

Rupeshhari,

But in my case, I already attended IELTS exam @ Sep, 2008 and scored sufficient points to support my application. I am thinking that if I inform Sydney officer in advance (about my language proficiency), It might give them kind of security and faith on candidate’s application. In other word, this candidate has all necessary points and already followed Immigration rule to appear in exam and now we can smoothly push his application. Anyway, my IELTS will be valid this year Sep, 2009...means my result will not change until unless if i again re appear on this exam.....I am already crossing 67 then no need to give this exam...

This is my guess....Request you and other seniors to enlighten yours opinion.

Re: Common questions

sydney officer doesn't care i think whether you have done it or not. they only care about ministerial list. gives them no more security given the current rules. theres nothing about pushing an application smoothly at the sydney stage.

Re: Common questions

Procedures at the Central Intake Office
CIO staff will recover the fee, create a CAIPS file, enter key data and assess whether the work experience and main duties declared by the applicant correspond to the NOC codes in the list of eligible occupations issued by the Minister. If the applicant does not meet the Ministerial Instructions, CIO staff will enter code “2” at the paper screening (T-11) stage in CAIPS . They will send a letter informing the applicant that they are not eligible for processing and will refund the fees.Applicants with NOC codes, work experience and main duties corresponding to the Instructions will be sent a letter by the CIO requesting them to submit a full application and supporting documents within 120 days to the visa office. CIO staff will enter code“4” at the paper screening (T-11) stage in CAIPS , bring forward ( BF ) the file in CAIPS to“A87” for 120 days, and transfer the electronic B file to the visa office. The CIO will download the files each Monday and send missions an email with the file numbers of all transferred files. The missions will need to ensure that the download was successful. The application itself will be retained in Sydney and no paper file will be transferred to the visa office

Re: Common questions

as per the websit instrction:

WORK EXPERIENCE
For you and your spouse or common-law partner:
• notarized employment contracts from your present and past employers,
accompanied by an English or French translation
• original and up-to-date letters of reference from your past and current employers.
Letters must be written on company letterhead and show the company's full
address, telephone and fax numbers, and be stamped with the company's official
seal.

it means i have to submit the original experience letter issued from the previous employers

Re: Common questions

(After sending required applications and other documents to Sydney offce) If Candiate receieves a letter from Sydney to submit other supporting documents + Copy of Applications to visa office. It means Candidate have to send the Xeror copies of submitted application to Visa office?

In my case, I already appeared in IELTS exam @ Sep, 2008. So I know what proficiency level I have as of now and I think, I have to fill same information in Language Proficiency section in applicartion 'Schedule 3 Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3] '(wrt to my IELTS Score Card). Please advice me.
