hello, i have offer letter from fanshawe college in practical elements of mechanical engineering (PGD). i heard that reputation of college is not good and part time jobs are hard to find. Can Anyone from fanshawe college throw bright light on it.

To my knowledge, colleges don't have dramatic differences in their rep.

As far the city goes, London is probably the 3rd largest/most populous city (after GTA and Ottawa) in Ontario. It's well known for health care facilities and research. It doesn't have much opportunities in heavy industries other than Toyota plant and CAMI automotive. Most people would work in health care, business/finance, govt. services or outside London. It has a large number of Muslim population. The city is located right in between Toronto (east) and Windsor (west); 2 hours drive to each direction.
