Its been more than 4 month now.. Landed in Ca on Dec 20th. Talking about London. Its not a big a city..But its a good place to live in. U have everything you want. Everything accessible. Cost of living is very low. You can get apartment for like CAD $750-800 (2 BHK). If you can share it with 4 or 5. its way too low. U can get Indian food stuff as well. If you cook yourself, then no worries. Non-Veg people end up spending less as meat is cheaper than vegetable.

About Fanshawe College. It is one of the reputed college in Ontario. Way too good than Centennial , Humber, Lambton and all...(But I don't know why so many Indian end up going their. Fanshawe College is one of the biggest here and Professor are really good. They really care about why you are spending this much money. I would recommend Sencca and Sheridian as well.

Fanshawe College can be a college for FUN if you are here for FUN (They got pubs, parties everything in college itself). If you want to earn a life in Canada and you wanna do well in your studies Fanshawe can help you succeed.(Good infrastructure, 24x7 library open).

Don't think that I am not having fun out here. I am kinda a neutral. I have fun, same time I care about my studies.

I am from Bangladesh. I have completed graduation from BRAC University (Major in Finance: Minor in Marketing) with a CGPA of 2.39 (66%). I have got offer letter from Fanshawe College, London Ontario for Post Graduation Diploma on "Professional Financial Services & International Business Management" (2 years). for September 13 Intake.

Tuition- $ 27000 (for 2 years)+ Living $8240 (1 year)

Once you have your social insurance number (SIN) you can find many part time jobs. Petro Canada, Mac's Store etc.

hi guys my visa has been approved ,my flight will arrive in toronto by 4th 6:55pm ,fanshawe college international services will provide some transport from airport & accomidation for 3 nights, i want accomidation aftr 3nights please do u know any accomidation services for indian student ,i am from hyd plz guys could help me .

I know that Visa refusal for College student is high, but why they refuge college student I don't know. May be they think I want to settle down in Canada. But my question is if all the papers I submitted are genuine what will be the reason to refuge me.

Some reasons for Visa refuge- My position about those case

1. Irrelevant Subject Choose - My bachelor on Finance, going PGD in Professional Financial Services
2. Week Financial background (non funded student) - I'm showing $1,00,000 CAD, where my Tuition for 1 year is $13500
3. Proper Paper (income tax, bank statement) - All papers are genuine & notarized
4. Week ties with BD - I have job in country and they are leaving me & Property of $4,15,000 CAD
5. Week SOP/ without SOP - I will make good SOP
6. Long Study gap without any reason (especially after HSC) - No study gap
7. 2nd Blood Sponsor (most of the case) - 1st blood sponsor (father & mother)
8. Sponsor who is a Citizen of CANADA (minor) - No sponsor from Canada
10. Choosing College (minor) - Yes Govt. funded College
11. Not visiting any country for 6 months (minor) - Did not visited any country
12. Low IELTS point (language abilities) - IELTS 6.5

So what will be the chance to refuge me, I'm in big tension.
