Family Visit VISA - Filipino Wife

Good Day Folks,

I'm posting a general question about applying for a TRV for my Filipino Wife. Here are my details:
- Married Oct 14, 2014
- Wife has joined me in Doha, Qatar under my "spousal sponsorship"
- Wife still has plenty of family in the Philippines, but is currently not employed as she has just arrived here in Doha, Qatar
- I am financially taking care of my wife, and our family needs

I am in the process of accepting a new job back home in Canada, and I want my wife to join me. Unfortunately I dont think my future job is going to wait 12-24 months for me to sponsor my wife under the Family Class Sponsorship.

My two scenarios are as follows:
- I accept the job and my wife comes with me (VIA Family Visit VISA - while we process our Family Class Sponsorship INLAND)
- I accept the job and my wife stays in Qatar (She will likely have her spousal sponsorship here canceled, and sent home to the Philippines)

What do you think the chances are that I/we can get a TRV for her/I to go to Canada together?

VIA Family Visit VISA

What do you mean as Family Visit VISA? There is no such thing as that. Please provide a CIC link that shows us what you have in mind.

Sorry, I used the wrong term.

Its a "TRV".

Temporary Resident Visa.

u have to sponsor her because once she is been interviewed they would ask her if she has any body in Canada and secondly why not let her apply for permanent residence from there you sponsor her or you invite her but she would have to show her family ties.

Chances are low.

CIC doesn't want to give TRV for people that are "waiting" and not "visiting". She has no assets, no job and a strong tie to Canada.
