Hi Everyone,
I have received my Canadian PR card and just got married... I am looking forward to permanently move to Canada, could you advise me on how long it takes to sponsor spouse and do we have any option to take spouse along on any dependent visa while sponsorship application is processed ?
I was looking for information but didn't have much success sofar. Appreciate the help...

It depends where your spouse is from and whether you sponsor your spouse outland or inland (from within Canada). If your spouse has children under 19 years old, they can be included in the application as well as dependents.

Note that you must be living in Canada to sponsor your spouse. You cannot sponsor your spouse from outside of Canada.

Thank you for the response, how abt visitor visa untill sponsorship gets approved ? can I take her along to Canada on any visa while sponsorship is approved ?
