Family Sponsorship..What to Expect Next?

Hi everone,
I’m in Riyadh and my wife is in Canada. I'm under her sponsorship. My wife ECAS shows 'DECISSION MADE" but I can’t check my E-CAS status using my UCI or Application No. Is it because i'm not the sponsor? Abu Dhabi visa office handles my application. Last April 22, 2013 I received an e-mail with this information:
"This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2012/10/11"
Another email arrived on April 24 and it says:
" This refers to your application for a Canadian permanent residence visa. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
1) Other: A completed and signed IMM5549 - Supplementary Information Form bearing an original signature. A copy of the Supplementary Information Form is attached for your reference. This must be received at this office by: 06/06/2013
2) Sponsor Questionnaire IMM5540: A newly completed Sponsor Questionnaire (IMM5540) bearing an original signature. The Sponsor Questionnaire can be downloaded online. This must be received at this office by: 06/06/2013. I sent the forms yesterday to ADVO via courier.
Does the above show a positive progress? What is next?

Yes, you can not see the status with your details, you would have to use your wifes details.

All you can do now is wait to see if they require further information from you or make a decision on your application.

Processing time in Abu Dhabi is currently 20 months average. So you have a little longer to wait.

But they have started processing your file so it is good news

Hi @ cyberstan, just to clarify, it seems as though your wife has probably been approved to sponsor you which is the stage 1 (decision made) processing. Either one of you can check that status online with the UCI number, your wife's name, date of birth and Country. Your side of ecas will be your details with the "application" number not the UCI number. So it's good news; however, as scottishmaple already stated, be prepared to wait a lot longer for stage 2 processing. Blessings.
