My sponsorship has been approved in Canada, along with medical approved. Sponsorship package has been sent to Port of Spain. How long is the average for sponsorship to be approved? Is it worth calling them and if so, what do I say besides begging and I'm sure they heard all of that. I was wondering that if it's going to be a long wait, is it worth trying to get a visiting visa for him to be with us for a little bit. I'm really wanting my husband to come home.

It's on their website just check that local office it was sent to in Spain and it will tell you in months depending on how many applications maybe be quicker or later

Processing in Port-of-Spain currently takes 17 months for 80% of the applications. Some can be done much more quickly than this. The times are here:

It is difficult to get a TRV, but he can try. He should have evidence that he will just be visiting and will leave Canada before his visa expires: a letter from his boss giving him time off; proof of a lease or mortgage or home ownership; proof of investments; a return ticket; etc.
