family sponsorship - a doubt

Hi,
My maternal grandmother is candian citizen.. he used to live in canada but back to native country after death of my grandfather
can she sponsor me for canada?
she has left canada and does not have any residence there as of now but she is still a canadian citizen

You can sponsor:
brothers or sisters, nephews or nieces, granddaughters or grandsons who are orphaned, under 18 years of age and not married or in a common-law relationship

If you qualify on those conditions, then your grandmother can sponsor you.

Note: you can sponsor one relative regardless of age or relationship only if you do not have a living spouse or common-law partner, conjugal partner, a son or daughter, parent, grandparent, sibling, uncle, aunt, nephew or niece who could be sponsored as a member of the family class, and you do not have any relative who is a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident or registered as an Indian under the Indian Act.

she does not have living spouse.. but she also does not have residence and she never paid tax as she immigrated after age of 62

Check with a lawyer and find out? alternatively, you can also try through skilled worker if that's possible.
